The rules in Myanmar are only just being written. When car imports were liberalized a few years ago, no one determined what type of cars they should be, so on the streets you’ll see both left- and right-hand- drive vehicles. The newness
of regulation gives brands an opportunity to mean more to the community than the role defined by their products. Colgate, for instance, has become a health education partner to schools that lack the latest information.
